Your questions, answered
Everything you need to know before soundproofing your windows. Another question? Call us at (514) 980-1514.
Does it really work?
Yes. By adding a second, sealed barrier in front of the pane, our panels cut outdoor noise by up to about 70%. Most clients hear the difference right at install, especially with traffic and neighbour noise.
Are the panels visible?
Barely. The acrylic is clear and fits discreetly around the inner edge of the window. Light and view stay the same; most visitors don't even notice them.
Can I still open my window?
Yes. The panels are removable: detach them to open the window, then put them back. No tools needed.
How does the cost compare to replacement?
Soundproofing costs about one-third the price of new acoustic windows, for comparable results. The price includes measurement and install, and it's always approved up front.
Does it suit a condo or a rented home?
Absolutely. Install makes no permanent changes and the panels come off without a trace, so it's ideal for condos and renters.
Does it help with insulation too?
Yes. The trapped air gap slows drafts, cuts condensation and helps steady the temperature — thermal comfort as a bonus.
How long does installation take?
Once the price is approved and measurements are taken, your panels are made and installed in 10 days or less. The install itself is fast and clean.
Is the quote really free?
Yes, the quote is free and with no obligation. You pay nothing until you've approved the price.
What types of windows can you fit panels on?
Most residential and commercial windows work, since every panel is custom-made. During the measurement visit, we confirm the best approach for your openings.
